Our Purpose Statement
A purpose statement defines your existence. It is more than a slogan or a catchy phrase. A purpose statement answers the question, "Why do we exist"?
Our purpose is "introducing people to Jesus".
Our Mission
Modeling the five biblical purposes of the church.
- Worship..."exalting Jesus" (Matthew 22:37-38)
- Ministry..."serving people" (Matthew 22:39-40)
- Evangelism..."sharing Jesus" (Matthew 28:19a)
- Fellowship..."developing genuine relationships" (Matthew 28:19b)
- Discipleship..."becoming more like Jesus" (Matthew 28:20)
Our Core Values
Our eight non-compromising principles that enable us to accomplish our purpose and mission.
- We value the authority of the Bible and Biblical teaching.
- We value the expectations of membership.
- We value the concept that service to Christ merits a commitment to excellence in everything that we do.
- We value families and the teaching and activities that strengthen families.
- We value empowered team leadership.
- We value church depth and health over church growth, we are to attend to the depth of our ministry and God will take care of the width.
- We value an environment of grace.
- We value small groups as the best environment to build relationships, minister to each other and learn the Bible at a deeper level.
